The 16-channel digital IO-LINK slave is a compact field-level I/O module that communicates with the master via the IO-LINK protocol and provides:

  • 16 configurable digital inputs (DI)/outputs (DO)

  • Supports standard PNP/NPN signals (24VDC)

  • Independent diagnosis for each channel (short circuit, open circuit, overload)

  • Plug and play, no additional programming required


Suitable for industrial scenarios with high-density discrete signal acquisition and control, such as automated production lines, packaging machinery, logistics sorting, etc.

Q1: Does the IO-LINK protocol module require additional gateway configuration?

A: No gateway is required. This module can be directly connected to a PLC master station that supports IO-LINK (such as Siemens S7-1200), plug and play.


Q2: Is the protection level of the module suitable for humid environments?

A: IP67 protection design, can work stably in dust and water mist environment, but long-term immersion in water is not recommended.


Q3: Can 16 channels be controlled independently at the same time?

A: Support. All channels can be independently configured as input or output mode without interfering with each other.


Q4: Is it compatible with traditional sensors that are not IO-LINK?

A: Yes. The module automatically identifies the type of digital signal (such as 24V DC switch quantity) without protocol conversion.
